A busy Cardiac Surgery program in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking a Physician Assistant to support cardiovascular surgical procedures, perioperative care, and patient education.

- First assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Perform endoscopic vessel harvesting
- Support preoperative history and physical examinations
- Provide postoperative care in an outpatient clinical setting
- Educate patients regarding surgical care and recovery
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Periodic weekday and weekend call required
- Major teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center setting

Candidate Requirements:
- Physician Assistant

- Strong new graduates may be considered
- First-assist experience preferred
- Endoscopic vein harvesting skills preferred
- Strong surgical interest, clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
