Full-Time | Cardiac Surgery | OR, Rounding, Clinic, and Call | 40 Hours
An established cardiac surgery practice in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery team.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Full-time Cardiac Surgery APP role
- Join a growing team with experienced cardiothoracic and vascular-trained surgeons
- Varied schedule includes operating room, rounding, clinic, and call responsibilities
- Support cardiac surgery patients across perioperative and outpatient care settings
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage selected at-risk or complex patients
- May perform procedures within scope of practice
- Experience preferred, but training for strong new graduates may be considered
- Regular full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours
- Rotating schedule

Candidate Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- South Dakota Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
- 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- 1 year of healthcare experience preferred
- Cardiac surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, surgical APP, OR, or inpatient rounding experience preferred
- Strong new graduates may be considered with training
- Motivated, patient-focused provider with strong communication and collaboration skills
