What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Cleaner (P/T Evenings) position at Archway Building Maintenance, Inc.?
We need reliable, friendly, general cleaners for a corporate office building in St. Louis city.
Experience is preferred but not necessary. If you are reliable, energetic, and have a great attitude, we will train you!
The shift starts at 5 or 5:30PM Monday through Friday (no weekends). There may be opportunities to work additional hours when available.
Summary of General Cleaning Responsibilities:
The general cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their assigned areas to the required standard. Duties include emptying trash, high and low dusting, damp wiping/sanitizing horizontal surfaces (within reach), vacuuming carpets, rugs, mats, etc., sweeping or dust mopping hard surface floors, damp/wet mopping hard surface floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchen areas, break areas and other duties as assigned.
A great attitude and customer service skills are essential.

Physical Requirements
Commercial cleaning involves extensive walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 25lbs), stretching, pushing and pulling. In addition to stooping, kneeling or crouching; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; talking and hearing. You must be able to perform the job duties within the budgeted timeframe.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
