Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that support infant and toddler development milestones
- Provide attentive care, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of each child at all times
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional regulation
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that stimulates exploration and learning
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with team members to plan activities that promote inclusive learning experiences for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a classroom or daycare setting is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while nurturing each child's individual needs
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment dedicated to quality childcare and education
