Responsibilities

• Lead the overall management of the child care center, including staff supervision, curriculum implementation, and daily operations.
• Develop and maintain high-quality educational programs that support children’s developmental milestones and foster a love of learning.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and organizational policies to provide a secure environment for children and staff.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and support staff members to maintain a motivated and professional team dedicated to excellence in early childhood education.
• Build strong relationships with families through effective communication, regular updates, and responsive support to meet their needs.
• Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, enrollment processes, record keeping, and reporting requirements.
• Promote an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages positive social interactions among children.
• Collaborate with community partners and educational stakeholders to enhance program offerings and community engagement.

Experience

• Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings.
• Strong background in education administration or management within a child care or preschool environment.
• Previous university experience or familiarity with academic settings can be an asset for program development or staff training initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality care and education.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners.
