Field Supervisor

Job Summary

Archtop Fiber is seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Operations Supervisor to lead our installation and service teams. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, managing internal technicians and external contractors, and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and safety. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, mentoring field staff, and enhancing the customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily field operations for fiber installation, maintenance, and service.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of in-house technicians and third-party contractors.
• Develop and enforce operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Plan and schedule work orders, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
• Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development of field staff.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve service issues and improve customer satisfaction.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including service quality, response times, and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records, including safety reports, service tickets, and personnel documentation.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of fiber installation techniques, OSP/ISP standards, and safety regulations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in project management tools, field service software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
