What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Intern position at Archroma?
We're looking for a Procurement Intern to join our summer cohort in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the managers of both the Direct and Indirect Procurement teams
- Create purchase orders
- Respond to inquiries related to certificates of analysis and safety data sheets
- Perform supplier set-up
- Track and monitor purchase requisitions
- Assist with related tasks as directed
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field
- Recent graduates will be considered
- Basic understanding or strong interest in procurement and supply chain process
- Comfortable working with Excel (formulas, basic pivot tables, data organization)
- Able to handle administrative and transactional tasks with attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of SAP is helpful but not required
- Prior related internships preferred
- Basic understanding of direct and indirect purchasing processes useful
