- Oversee benefits strategy, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellness programs, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle relationships with brokers, consultants, and third-party administrators to optimize benefits offerings.
- Oversee communication materials, booklets, employee meetings, and other media for communicating new plans and changes to employees.
- Conduct market analysis and RFP processes to drive cost optimization and improve employee experience.
- Lead the development and oversee the execution of all compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans (STI, QIP), job architecture, and market benchmarking.
- Oversee the annual salary planning process, including merit increases, promotions, and market adjustments.
- Evaluate and enhance executive and broad-based compensation programs (ESPP, RockShare) and oversee the administration of all equity-related programs
- Lead compensation analytics, using data insights to inform pay decisions and ensure market competitiveness.
- Develop and manage the budget to ensure effective and efficient program delivery; update the forecast and ensure accurate accruals of compensation and benefit spend.
- Drive communication and change-management efforts to enhance employees' understanding of compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, SEC, FLSA, pay transparency, and other statutory requirements.
- Lead compensation and benefits due diligence and integrations for future acquisitions or M&A activity.
- Act as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders on compensation and benefits standard processes and innovations.

- Knowledge of executive compensation management (equity)
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing total rewards strategies.
- Experience in brokerage management, RFP processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Compensation Professional; Certified Benefits Professional
- 7 relevant experience in compensation and benefits, including supervisory experience of at least 3 years.
- Experience in the energy and utilities sectors.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team to effectively implement compensation and benefits initiatives.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders, including Finance, HR, and Legal teams, to align total rewards with business strategy.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, use a PC, and talk or hear.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds may be required.
- Analyzes service and budget performance data on an ongoing basis and develops recovery plans as needed.
