Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Eastern Lake County for a Property Maintenance Manager. Looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician/Handyman to join our property management team. This role will be hands-on and requires knowledge of building systems. This is a proactive role focused on problem-solving, time management, and maintaining well-run, resident-friendly properties.
Responsibilities
· Perform general maintenance, assist with move-in/move-out tasks and complete basic repairs across all building systems
· Respond to resident requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
· Coordinate and meet with vendors to perform more technical and larger repairs/improvements
· Be available for weekend and after-hours on-call emergencies
· Troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently with minimal supervision
· Schedule and coordinate preventative & seasonal maintenance
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment throughout the properties
· Keep track of daily tasks and hourly allocation to properties
Qualifications
· Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or handyman work required
· Strong knowledge of common building systems and repair methods
· Some weekend and evening work required
· Ability to prioritize tasks and problem solve
· Communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with residents and staff
· Reliable and capable of working independently
· Must have own vehicle
