Position Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and decision support within a manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with operations, supply chain, and leadership to analyze cost structures, margins, inventory, and production performance. The analyst leverages Sage ERP data to deliver accurate forecasts, variance analysis, and actionable financial insights that support operational and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare and analyze actual vs. budget vs. forecast variances with clear explanations
• Build and maintain financial models to support volume, pricing, margin, and cost decisions
• Support long?range planning and scenario analysis
• Manufacturing & Cost Analysis
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, overhead, and throughput
• Monitor COGS, standard costing, and production variances
• Partner with operations to understand drivers of cost, efficiency, and yield
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through financial analysis
• ERP & Reporting (Sage)
• Utilize Sage ERP to extract, validate, and analyze financial and operational data
• Ensure accuracy of inventory valuation, WIP, and cost allocations
• Develop and improve recurring management reports and dashboards
• Support process improvements and automation of ERP?based reporting
  
  Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 5 years of progressive financial analysis experience
• Manufacturing or plant environment experience required

• Support month?end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Assist with internal controls, audit support, and financial policy compliance
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems
