What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender in Training and Restaurant Server position at Archive Coffee and Bar?
We are looking for a bartender in training who loves cocktails and able to create classic and innovative drinks, who is also a capable and passionate server. Compensation includes $14.75 wage, tip pool, free shift meals and drinks, 70% off all additional food and drinks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create high end cocktails with speed and skill.
- Interact warmly with guests, take orders and run food and drinks
- Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Have or obtain an OLCC and food handlers card
- Nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Deescalate tense situations and cutting guests off when needed in firm and kind ways.
- Positive communication with team members.
Skills
- Prior bartending experience is preferred but not required
- Multi task while maintaining a level head in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
