What You’ll Do
- Support the Project Architect by preparing project specifications and construction documentation.
- Prepare meeting minutes, RFIs, RFPs, field reports, change orders, and other project correspondence.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and bid lettings.
- Review contractor payment applications, material testing reports, and construction submittals.
- Advise owners on construction changes and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Conduct site visits, participate in progress meetings, and document construction progress.
- Provide construction administration services through substantial and final project completion.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Administration, or a related field, or equivalent commercial construction experience.
- Five or more years of experience managing or supervising commercial construction projects.
- Working knowledge of commercial building codes and construction best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- CSI CDT and/or CCCA certification is preferred but not required.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and follow-through.
- Able to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.
- Professional communicator with clients, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment when resolving construction issues.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to producing quality work.
- Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic.
