Job Description: Architectural Systems, Inc. in Aurora, MO is looking to hire a first shift CNC machine operator.

Job Summary: This position has a Production 3 job tier rating.
- Monday-Friday: 5AM-2:30PM
- Saturday: 5AM-10AM (As needed)
- All shifts are subject to change based on work load and season.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machines, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on CNC machines.
- Ensure that all parts meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes.
- Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, drilling).
- Strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Tape measure and dial/digital caliper use daily.
