APV is looking for a Sales Support Representative in our Ashland, VA, location. This position supports our sales process from project start through completion. APV is the premiere commercial door & security provider in the region. You will work directly with our Project Managers and Salespeople, assisting them with everything from bid invitations to blueprint plan evaluation.

Pay Rate: $18 - $29 per hour

About the Role:
- Organize incoming Invitations to Bid (ITBs) and facilitate transfer to the company’s ERP (Acumatica) before and after the weekly sales meeting.
- Continuous monitoring of the shared sales email inbox that may contain project-sensitive changes, such as updates to bid information.
- Utilize our shared digital database DocLink, ERP software (Acumatica), detailing software, and Microsoft Excel to assist project managers with various tasks.
- Partner with vendors to monitor job materials and shipping dates as per project timelines.
- Responsible for printing project blueprints and providing accurate inventory counts to project managers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent typing skills and data entry
- Good working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs, especially in Excel
- Desired - Experience working with commercial contractors, especially in commercial doors, frames, hardware, and security integration.
- Desired - Working knowledge of and experience with construction-related software such as company intranet programs, digital document software, Enterprise Resource Planning software, and other systems such as SharePoint, DocLink, and Pro-Tech.
