Summary
As a Manufacturing employee at Architectural Precast Innovations, Inc., you will play a vital role in the production of high-quality precast concrete products. This position is essential to our mission of delivering customized solutions that meet our clients' architectural needs.
Responsibilities
· Perform tasks involving physical labor in the plants or outdoors.
· Position, join, align, and seal structural components, such as plates, anchors and lifting devices.
· Measure, cut, bend and/or tie rebar reinforcing and/or welded wire fabric mesh
· Measure, cut, saw, bend, punch or weld steel angles, plates, rebar and the like.
· Mix, pour, spread, vibrate concrete.
· Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered concrete finishing tools.
· Mixing and patching of grout
· Sand blasting or acid washing to achieve desired finish
· Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts.
· Grind, scrape, sand, or polish surfaces such as wood, concrete and steel, using abrasive tools or machines.
· Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters.
· May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, cement mixers, mechanical cranes, table saws, sanders and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
