Job Summary
Architectural Millwork Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Woodworking Technician to support the production of custom wood components, architectural millwork, and related products. Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and millwork components.
- Operate woodworking tools and machinery such as saws, routers, sanders, drills, and other shop equipment.
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, specifications, and production instructions.
- Set up tools and equipment and make adjustments as needed for accurate production.
- Inspect completed components for proper dimensions, fit, finish, and overall quality.
- Assist with assembling cabinets, panels, trim, fixtures, and custom architectural millwork.
- Perform basic equipment cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Safely handle, move, and store lumber, materials, and finished components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe woodworking environment.
- Follow company quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous woodworking, millwork, carpentry, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with woodworking tools, machinery, and materials.
- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and basic technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination and practical problem-solving skills.
