Entry-Mid Level Estimator

Looking for an estimator to join our team, grow with us, and help us win work the right way. This role will primarily support our contract installation estimating but will have exposure to fabrication estimating over time. Great opportunity for someone looking for opportunity in the construction industry as you will get to see how projects get started with pricing, fabricated by our in-house fab shop, and finally installed finishing off the work you got to see at its earliest stages. You will work to break down drawings, build takeoffs, understand scope, and build accurate, competitive estimates.

Looking for a culture addition and we are willing to train. Experience in trades that require multi-component assemblies, sequencing, high tolerance sensitivity, and field conditions are preferred.

We are looking for:

Strong attention to detail

Comfortable with Microsoft Suite

Ability to read construction documents

Experience in glazing, framing, finish carpentry, millwork, commercial door - 2-4 years

Comfortable with customer and vendor communication

Role Description

Review architectural drawings, specs, and bid docs

Perform takeoffs

Assist in building estimates

Work closely with senior estimators and project teams to understand AD&W best approach

Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing

Learn both in-house fabrication and installation estimating work

Pay range is dependent on experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
