Architectural Components, Inc. is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our growing team in Sandy, Utah.

You'll manage projects from award through closeout, working closely with owners, general contractors, field teams, vendors, and executive leadership to ensure every project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading commercial construction projects from project turnover through final closeout.

Your responsibilities will include:

Project Leadership

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Review project handoffs and develop execution plans.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure milestone deadlines are achieved.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and Field Operations to ensure projects are prepared before mobilization.
  • Attend Foreman meetings and provide project leadership.

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and approved submittals.
  • Ensure field crews have all installation instructions, tools, equipment, and materials before work begins.
  • Coordinate procurement and material deliveries.
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers and vendors.
  • Track long-lead items and material schedules.

Financial Management

  • Manage project budgets and job costs.
  • Review and negotiate project contracts.
  • Monitor labor productivity and material costs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Prepare 50% and 100% job cost reports.
  • Manage billing, change orders, T&M documentation, ASIs, CCDs, and project financial reporting.

Quality & Customer Service

  • Maintain Architectural Components' high standards of workmanship.
  • Visit project sites to verify installation quality.
  • Ensure compliance with installation instructions and project specifications.
  • Build strong relationships with owners, architects, and general contractors.
  • Resolve project issues quickly and professionally.

Risk Management

  • Identify project risks before they become major issues.
  • Document delays caused by owners, general contractors, or other trades.
  • Protect the Company from unnecessary costs and liquidated damages.
  • Communicate project concerns proactively with executive leadership.

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of commercial construction Project Management experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong financial management and job costing experience.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Construction Management degree (or equivalent Project Management experience).
  • Experience with Division 10 or specialty architectural products.
  • Bluebeam experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Monday.com, or similar construction management software.

Compensation

Annual Salary: $90,000–$120,000

Based on experience and qualifications.

This position requires a minimum 50-hour workweek in office.
