Requirements:

• Architectural license a MUST
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture required; Doctorate Degree a plus
• LEED Accreditation a plus
• Proficient in in Revit, AutoCAD and other software related to the architectural field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in all phases of architectural projects
• Experience in Education, Commercial, Housing, Healthcare, and/or Aviation
• Department of Defense experience REQUIRED
• Experience doing on-site field investigation and observation during construction
• Hawaii resident is a MUST

• Ability to work with governing authorities to obtain building permits, documenting code review, and approvals

Responsibilities:

• Oversight responsibility for all projects in the firm, including signoff/stamping on drawings, etc.
• Management of planning, adapting, and modifying all working drawings
• Business development, client communications, military liaison
• Prepare and present drawings and floor plans
• Leadership of a team with all disciplines, employees, and consultants

Work Environment:

• Office uniquely located in a neighborhood with free parking
• Regular office hours (Monday-Friday); may have to adjust schedules quickly, often when on fast deadlines
• May be required to work long hours, nights, and weekends when under tight deadlines
• Possible short-term travel to project sites in Guam, Japan, and other pacific regions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
