Barista Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency
• Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashier duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
• Assist in food handling and food preparation to ensure quality and freshness
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels

Kitchen Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of made-to-order breakfast foods
• Greet customers warmly when delivering food to tables
• Assist in food handling and food preparation to ensure quality and freshness
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels

Requirements

• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Saturday availability is required.
• All Team Members are cross-trained to operate as both kitchen and barista staff
• Summer and winter break availability is required.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage positively with our guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly in a fast-paced setting
• Dedication to consistency and excellence in task completion
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude who is eager to learn and receive constructive feedback

Preferences

• Previous barista or kitchen experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Square or Toast is preferred but not required.
