Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashier duties with accuracy and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
- Assist in food handling and food preparation to ensure quality and freshness
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly and efficiently
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels
Requirements
- Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week. Saturday availability is required.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage positively with our guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks seamlessly in a fast-paced setting
- Dedication to consistency and excellence in task completion
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude who is eager to learn and receive constructive feedback
Preferences
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Square or Toast is preferred but not required.
