What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Supervisor position at ARCHILD, INC.?
Archild is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will provide leadership within the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program at Archild and is responsible for both supervision of RBTs and oversight of ABA treatment for students enrolled in the program. The BCBA will also collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each child. Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Implement and monitor behavioral interventions through data collection, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide training and support to staff, families and caregivers on effective behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with governing agencies and HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for individuals with behavioral needs.
- Stay current with developments in the field of ABA therapy and apply best practices in patient care.
- The position is responsible for supervision of RBT’s and oversees ABA treatment for clients enrolled in the program.
Qualifications
- Certification through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience supervising RBTs and exam candidates.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Experience with screening, assessment, program implementation and evaluation.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Proficiency in managing medical records while adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in real-world settings.
- Ability to thrive as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding of individual needs.
- Must have 3 years of experience as a BCBA.
