Job Description
The Web Designer will design, build, and maintain modern, responsive websites and digital experiences for Archetype SC and its clients. This role blends creative design thinking with practical front-end development skills, along with exposure to AI-driven design, content generation, and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Digital Design
- Design and build responsive website layouts, landing pages, and UI components using WordPress, Elementor, Divi, or similar builders.
- Translate brand styles into high-quality digital experiences that are visually consistent and accessible.
- Create graphics, imagery, icons, and other assets for web use.
- Work with senior designers to maintain brand identity across digital platforms.
Front-End Development Support
- Implement and customize HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot website issues, browser inconsistencies, and performance problems.
- Collaborate with developers for advanced integrations.
AI-Assisted Workflow & Automation
- Use AI tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Figma AI, Framer AI, and ChatGPT for concepting and content generation.
- Apply AI-driven SEO tools to support optimization.
- Leverage AI analytics tools to improve UX/UI design decisions.
Content & Digital Marketing Support
- Assist in designing visuals for blogs, landing pages, newsletters, and campaigns.
- Support SEO efforts through page optimization, metadata, and content structure improvements.
- Maintain and update website content.
Collaboration & Project Execution
- Work with marketing, project managers, and developers to deliver high-quality designs.
- Participate in design reviews and project planning.
- Maintain documentation on design specifications and revisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of web design or digital design experience.
- Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
- Understanding of SEO and responsive design principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI design tools.
- Familiarity with motion graphics tools.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles.
Daily Tasks
- Design and update website pages and digital content.
- Build campaign landing pages.
- Troubleshoot site inconsistencies.
- Use AI tools to generate mockups and content drafts.
- Participate in review sessions and incorporate feedback.
- Monitor website performance and assist with SEO tasks.
