Duties
- Lead and supervise construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth operations and clear communication
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to verify accuracy and implementation
- Manage project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines
- Oversee quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other regulations
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating using HeavyBid or comparable tools
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and collaboration
- Conduct site safety audits, enforce safety policies including OSHA requirements, and address any hazards promptly
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings; utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary
- Travel between multiple project sites as required to oversee progress and resolve issues efficiently
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (or other relevant languages) for effective communication across diverse teams
- Extensive experience in construction management within data center or similar high-tech environments
- Strong supervisory skills with proven success managing teams on large-scale projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling; familiarity with Primavera P6 is essential
- Knowledge of construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid; experience with blueprints reading and schematics is required
- Familiarity with construction safety standards including OSHA regulations; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively
- Experience with construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation purposes
- Ability to read technical schematics; experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is a plus
- Skilled in budgeting, contract management, and managing project timelines from start to finish
