Position Overview

As an Outdoors Sales Associate, you are the face of the shop. You’ll provide a legendary customer experience by engaging with fellow enthusiasts and showcasing expert knowledge across our Archery and Firearm departments. Whether you’re helping a customer find their first compound bow or safely handling a firearm transaction, your goal is to get them field-ready.

Key Job Functions

• Expert Consulting: Identify customer needs and provide tailored recommendations for archery equipment and firearms.
• Service & Technical Work: Assist with the indoor archery range and learn to perform basic tech work on bows and equipment.
• Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor to showcase our expanding inventory.
• Operational Excellence: Process service orders, manage inventory, and handle transactions using our POS software and iPads.
• Problem Solving: Resolve customer issues with logic, professional judgment, and a friendly, "helpful-peer" attitude.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Physical Ability: Must be capable of drawing back a bow with a 70lb draw weight.
• Availability: Must be available to work weekends.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0–2 years. Hiring preference is given to those with a background in sales, a positive attitude, and a deep passion for the outdoors.
• Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods to assist customers and manage the floor.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using email, iPads, and navigating online accounts. Proficiency in Excel is a plus.
