Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail team, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
- Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS system management, and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, ordering purchasing, inventory control, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities.
- Implement effective sales strategies through marketing initiatives, promotional displays, and pricing adjustments to boost store revenue.
- Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation processes to build a skilled and motivated team aligned with company goals.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and manage budgets to meet financial targets while maintaining cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and legal regulations related to retail operations and product safety in archery equipment.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with strong leadership capabilities in supervising sales teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math skills for daily operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently across merchandising, stocking, and operational duties.
- Knowledge of retail math principles including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee training & development as well as supervising shift operations.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
