What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have expert-level HR knowledge and demonstrated experience in:
- California labor and employment law
- HR compliance, audits, and documentation standards
- LOA and ADA/IP case management
- Employee relations, coaching, and investigations
- Full-cycle recruitment for hourly production roles
- Full cycle onboarding and offboarding
- Partnering closely with operations leaders to support an hourly production workforce
- Ability to train, coach, and elevate front-line supervisors on HR fundamentals
- Developing and maintaining HR dashboards and labor reporting tools to measure turnover, retention, recruiting metrics, and headcount trends; using those insights to influence decision-making and drive operational improvements at the plant level

- 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience in California, preferably supporting manufacturing or distribution environments
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in HR/Industrial Relations preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification highly desirable
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; Spanish fluency preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, programs, and compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence outcomes, and solve problems effectively
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret HR data, build dashboards, and translate labor metrics into actionable insights
- Highly organized, analytical thinker with strong planning and execution skills
- Professional presence and ability to partner with employees and leaders at all levels
