As an Accounting Services Associate, you will support a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients by delivering accurate and timely bookkeeping, payroll, and client accounting services. This fully onsite role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on accounting work and thrive in a client-facing environment. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and building strong client relationships while contributing to the overall success of the accounting services team.

What You’ll Do
As an Accounting Services Associate, you will support a portfolio of small to mid-sized business clients by delivering accurate and timely bookkeeping, payroll, and client accounting services. This fully onsite role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on accounting work and thrive in a client-facing environment. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance, and building strong client relationships while contributing to the overall success of the accounting services team.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including transaction entry and general ledger maintenance in QuickBooks Online
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness for client accounts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for client reporting
- Support year-end close and coordinate with tax teams for
- Communicate directly with clients regarding financial activity and questions
- Assist with process improvements and system efficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or client accounting services experience
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
- Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Experience with reconciliations, payroll processing, and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients
- Effective communication and client service skills

- Base salary of $23.00-$25.00 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
