About Us
We are a small, client-focused CPA firm providing accounting, advisory, and tax services to individuals and businesses. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to support our growing client base. Candidates with prior experience in a small CPA or public accounting firm environment are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Record income and expense transactions for multiple client accounts
- Manage accounts payable, including vendor setup, invoice entry, and bill payments
- Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing tasks
- Communicate with clients to obtain documentation or clarify transactions
- Support CPAs with miscellaneous bookkeeping or reporting needs
- 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a small CPA firm or public accounting environment
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and reconciliations
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Desktop (other systems a plus)
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and client-service skills
