What You’ll Do
This role is designed for a developing accountant who is ready to build a strong technical foundation while gaining hands-on experience across tax, accounting, and client service. You will work closely with senior team members, contribute to real client deliverables, and gradually take on more responsibility as your experience grows. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated to develop within public accounting.
- Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end close
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
- Assist with preparation of individual and business tax returns
- Support quarterly filings and compliance work
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
- Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve issues
- Support senior team members on engagements and projects
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting and/or tax experience
- CPA not required; progress toward CPA is a plus
- Foundational understanding of accounting and tax principles
- Exposure to payroll and/or quarterly filings is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

- Hourly rate of $24–$28, plus discretionary bonus; exact rate will be determined based on experience.
