This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary:

The Fixed Assets and Project Accounting team is responsible for ensuring accurate reporting of capital projects and fixed asset transactions. We do this through monthly close activities such as calculating and recording journal entries, analyzing changes in property, plant, and equipment balances, analyzing changes in capital expenditures, completing and reviewing balance reconciliations, assisting with relevant property footnotes and cash flow information, as well as interacting with multiple levels of business unit commercial and plant management.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and reconciling of fixed asset accounts, including review of certain tasks
- Complete monthly accounting work per US GAAP guidelines and perform relevant analysis
- Prepare global FA reporting on a monthly basis
- Complete annual review/revision of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) and process flows and work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls
- Work with relevant business partners to provide insight and analysis into financial results
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and/or supporting schedules
- Perform quarterly analysis and reporting
- Work independently with little supervisor intervention
- Engage proactively in the design and implementation of process change
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation and review experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Internal Controls
- Financial Analysis and operations
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Designing Queries and Reports using Financial Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 6 years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems a plus
- Ability to safely and successful perform the essential job functions consistent with qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Standard office safety regulations
