You will gain knowledge of the facility, general department knowledge, and handle tasks through completion of tasks and look for ways to improve the process and personal performance. Utility - Sanitation Operators are expected to perform a variety of jobs, tasks or duties as assigned including intense cleaning and sanitizing, and packaging products.Essential Job Functions:This position initially involves general sanitation duties following developed GMPs for our food safety programsFollowing GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Safety Rules is essentialDuties include but not limited to unloading raw material, loading finished product, light maintenance, and cleaningAll other duties requiredRequired Skills and QualificationsThe successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bendMay be required to lift 55 lbs. / 22 kg and needs to be able to work in a variety of hot, cold, or wet conditionsShift work, overtime and weekends may be requiredThere is room for advancement in the futureEducation or Work ExperienceHigh school education or equivalent is preferredWhat you will bring:Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)High School diploma or equivalentExperience in fast paced production and/or similar military environmentPrevious sanitation experience - a plus if in food related environment.* Please include your work history or updated resume on your application for consideration.Working ConditionsAmbient conditions - Work area is, typically, a non-air-conditioned production environment.
