We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal with a minimum of three years of civil litigation experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who takes ownership of their work and serves as a key support to attorneys on complex matters.
Responsibilities include managing all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through trial and resolution. Draft, review and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses and correspondence. Perform and oversea state and federal electronic filing. Maintain and manage attorney calendars, including tracking court appearances, deadlines and critical dates. Coordinate and manage discovery, including large-scale document production and review. Organize, maintain and audit case files to ensure accuracy and completeness. Communicate professionally with clients, courts and opposing counsel. Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation, witness coordination and trial binders. Utilize case management to track matters, time and deadlines.
Qualifications include a minimum of three years of civil litigation experience. Paralegal certificate preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft 365. Proficiency with case management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines.
Salary : $55,000 - $68,000
