Job Summary
The Marketing & Communications Associate will play a crucial role in expanding The Care Service’s reach, elevating our brand presence, and achieving recognition and support. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, creative junior professional with digital content marketing and social media skills and a passion for making a positive social impact. The person in this role will be ambitious, strategic, analytical, data-driven, innovative, self-motivated, fast-paced, organized, and high-capacity with a strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy that includes social, digital, and other forms of media.
- Create compelling and shareable content that aligns with The Care Service’s mission and resonates with the target audience.
- Generate innovative ideas for content creation that highlight the impact of our programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, and clients to gather stories, testimonials, and other content that highlights the impact of our programs.
- Drive consistency to maintain brand image and standards across all communication channels.
- Develop marketing collateral that effectively communicates The Care Service’s mission and goals.
- Design the Annual Report, thank you letters, press releases, monthly newsletters, blog posts, social media posts, and annual campaigns.
- Assist in updating and maintaining website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand and web standards.
- Foster and nurture relationships with the community through online and offline channels.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Plan, monitor, strengthen, and maintain a presence on social platforms through the management of organic posting, scheduling, and engagement with Development Director.
- Conduct research on target audience and define social media KPIs, track and report on results, as well as analyze the impact of initiatives on various KPIs (i.e., followers, growth trends, campaign successes); suggest optimization tactics.
- Suggest new methods to attract prospective donors.
- Stay on top of the current best practices and technologies for each social media platform.
- Educate team members on how to use social media in a beneficial way.
- Oversee the layout of all social media accounts.
- Proficient with Canva, Adobe InDesign, or comparable design tools to create marketing assets.
- Experienced with WordPress and Bricks Editor, including routine content updates and page building.
- Experience with email marketing platforms
- Basic video editing using CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro to support social media content and promotional videos
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with people of various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds including communication with Supervisors, recipients, volunteers, community partners, funding agency representatives, case workers etc.
- Moderate to high level of knowledge of social media platforms.
- Ability to keep confidential information and only share client information on a need-to-know basis required for the job.
- Have sharp problem-solving skills and be able to make decisions quickly in very stressful situations.
- Experience with and ability to use computer (Microsoft Office), fax/copier and telephone.
- Exercise good judgment and use good organizational skills in evaluation situations.
- Work harmoniously with applicants, recipients, general public and other employees.
- Work in and promote a team environment.
- Knowledge of community and agency resources.
- Knowledge of principles and methods of interviewing.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment or for cause drug test.
- Ability to pass a background check.
