Job Summary
Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School, a St. Louis Archdiocesan coeducational college preparatory high school serving grades 9–12, seeks a dynamic and faith-filled Campus Minister for the 2026–2027 school year. The Campus Minister plays a vital role in fostering the spiritual life of the school community by promoting Catholic identity, coordinating liturgical experiences, and providing opportunities for students to deepen their relationship with God. The ideal candidate is passionate about youth ministry, committed to Catholic education, and dedicated to forming students in faith, service, and leadership.

The Employed Person Is Expected To
- Articulate and act in accordance with the policies, procedures, mission, and vision of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis and Cardinal Ritter College Prep High School.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead school liturgies, prayer services, and sacramental opportunities.
- Organize and facilitate student retreats, including grade-level and leadership retreats.
- Provide spiritual guidance and pastoral support to students.
- Promote and coordinate service-learning opportunities aligned with Catholic Social Teaching.
- Collaborate with Theology faculty to integrate faith formation across the curriculum.
- Foster a strong Catholic culture rooted in prayer, reflection, and community.
- Mentor student leaders in campus ministry and faith-based initiatives.
- Engage families and the broader school community in spiritual life and service.
- Support the mission of developing scholars in Faith, Academic Excellence, and Leadership.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, Religious Studies, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience in campus ministry, youth ministry, or parish ministry (preferred)
- Strong understanding of Catholic teachings, traditions, and liturgical practices
- Ability to connect with and minister to high school students in an urban, college preparatory environment
- Experience planning retreats, liturgies, and service programs
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and administration
