Job Summary
A Catholic Classroom Aide supports the classroom teacher in creating a Christ-centered, academically excellent learning environment that fosters the spiritual, intellectual, social, and emotional growth of each student. The instructional aid will assist in implementing lesson plans, providing individualized support to students, and maintaining a classroom atmosphere aligned with the mission and vision of the school, as outlined by the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS).

- Model and promote Catholic values in all interactions.
- Support integration of faith-based principles in classroom activities.
- Help create a respectful, inclusive environment reflecting Catholic teachings.
- Assist in liturgies, prayer services, and religious celebrations.
- Collaborate with the teacher to implement lesson plans and activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support for individual learning needs.
- Assist in preparing instructional materials and maintaining organization.
- Support the use of technology to enhance learning.

- Participate in events, activities, and service projects promoting Catholic values.
- Serve as a role model of faith, service, and respect.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred.
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
- Familiarity with Catholic teachings and a commitment to faith-based education.
- Experience working with children in an educational or similar setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in using educational technology and tools.
