Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Reception & Front Office Support
$25-$35/hour, any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Reception & Front Office Support
- Welcome and assist students, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Serve as the primary front office contact by answering, screening, directing phone calls, and responding to general inquiries
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front office environment
- Manage visitor check-in procedures and maintain visitor logs in accordance with school safety protocols
- Process and distribute incoming mail and assist with outgoing correspondence
- Provide basic support and supervision for students visiting the health room as needed
- Manage daily attendance procedures and absentee reporting
- Maintain accurate student attendance records and documentation
- Communicate attendance concerns or discrepancies with families and administration as appropriate
- Assist with maintaining accurate student records within school information systems
- Manage volunteer registration and tracking systems
- Coordinate volunteer compliance requirements, including background checks and Safe Environment documentation
- Maintain organized volunteer files and compliance records
- Order, organize, and maintain office, classroom, and school supplies
- Provide clerical and organizational support to faculty and staff
- Utilize school databases and data management systems to maintain accurate records and reports
- Assist with school-wide communications, forms, and administrative projects as assigned
- Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and maintenance personnel as needed
- Support efforts to maintain a safe, clean, and organized campus environment
- Serve as a member of the Parish and School Safety Committee
- Monitor campus security cameras and report concerns when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to interact professionally and positively with students, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar) required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Ability to learn and effectively use school information systems and data management software
- Canva experience preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
