Our student body is also representative of the ethnic diversity of the Bay Area. Seventy percent of our students are Catholic. Contact Person: Gina Beal, Principal Position Title: Primary Classroom Teacher (Kinder - 2nd grade) Position Type: Instructional, exempt, full-time, and/or long-term substitute $54,500-$104,931 Base range (Advanced Education & Certifications not included) Job Description: Saint Gabriel School, a Catholic school located in the Sunset district of San Francisco, California is accepting applications for a Primary grade (Kinder - 2nd grade) teaching position for the 2026 – 2027 school year. There is a possible need for full-time and/or a long-term substitute position. St. Gabriel offers two sections of each grade from kindergarten through grade eight. We are looking for a qualified, energetic teacher who sets high expectations for academic excellence and is willing to incorporate the latest educational approaches into the curriculum. Requirements/Qualifications: Qualifications: Candidates must possess an undergraduate 4-year degree A California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (or a reciprocal State Teaching Credential) and/or a Master’s Degree Education in along with 2 years teaching experience is preferred.
