The candidate must possess a valid California Teaching Credential, have an equivalent teaching credential from another state or be working towards earning one. Prior experience teaching middle grades in a Catholic school is ideal. The candidate will be able to foster the spiritual, academic, social and emotional growth of each student. St. Gregory School is located in San Mateo near Hillsdale Mall. The school was founded seventy years ago, and today it remains a vital part of the St. Gregory Parish. We offer a Catholic education for children in grades Kindergarten through Eighth. We are seeking a qualifi ed candidate to fi ll the teaching position of Junior High homeroom teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This is a full-time job, which entails teaching religion, ELA, and history in a self contained modifi ed home room model (responsible only for one grade level class of 36 students). Requirements/Qualifi cations: consistent with Diocesan and local site goals. Be an effective teacher of core subjects: Language Arts, Religion, and History. Knowledge of Common Core and State Standards and able to implement successfully. Have knowledge and profi ciency in integrating technology to enhance instruction and help students to learn on their own path and at their own best pace. Be a participating member of a Catholic community.
