Requirements
Position Responsibilities:
- *Partners with the CPO to implement and operationalize enterprise people strategies.
- *Executes people initiatives, programs, and frameworks as defined by the CPO.
- Provides operational feedback and insights to inform ongoing strategy refinement.
- *Oversees daily HR operations, ensuring consistent application of policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- *Lead employee relations processes, including coaching managers, addressing workplace concerns, and supporting performance management.
- *Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies.
- *Monitors HR service delivery to ensure responsiveness, consistency, and quality across programs.
- *Directly supervises HR Generalists and provide leadership oversight to their respective support staff.
- *Builds team capability through coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Ensures alignment, accountability, and consistency within the HR team.
- *Implements, delivers, executes employee comprehensive learning and development programs aligned with priorities and frameworks set by the CPO across the entire organization.
- Ensures trainers across the entire organization are meeting the needs of the departments and programs.
- *Leads training coordination while supporting the delivery of leadership development programs defined by the Chief People Officer.
- *Supports managers in developing staff capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Executes workforce planning processes and support the implementation of organizational development and change management initiatives in collaboration with and as directed by the CPO.
- *Produces regular and ad hoc HR reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility to support analysis and strategic decision-making by the CPO.
- *Manages and oversees functions of assigned HR team members.
- *Partners with the recruiter (who reports to the CPO) to ensure seamless hiring processes, onboarding, and integration of new employees.
- Collaborates with program leaders to ensure HR practices support service delivery and mission outcomes.
- Ensures fair, consistent, and compassionate application of HR practices across all teams.
- Must complete all required trainings in a timely manner.
- Must be sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Adheres to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
- Responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in the service with the organization to include but not limited to client names and information, services rendered to clients, donors names and gifts, internal and external investigations or results of any investigations, and financial information.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, OD, Education, Business, or related field preferred; a minimum of seven (7) years of related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience
- 7 years of human resources experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- 3 years of experience managing employee training and/or development programs
- Nonprofit or social services experience, preferred
- License and Credentials
- SHRM-CP/SCP, SPHR/PHR, preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver license, with clean driving record
- Valid automobile insurance
- Knowledge of HR operations, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to implement HR strategies established by senior leadership.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training delivery methods.
- Ability to lead and develop a multi-level HR team.
- Skilled in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management support.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR data analysis.
- Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
