CHURCH SEXTON- St. Bernard Church
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Part-Time — 3 Days a Week
Monday • Wednesday • Friday
3 Hours Per Day
Our church is looking for a dependable, hardworking person to fill the position of Church Sexton.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Keeping the church clean and presentable
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms
- Taking care of church supplies and keeping inventory
- Making sure we don't run out of the things everyone assumes magically appear when needed
- Caring for and maintaining the church garden
- Noticing the little things that need to be done—and taking care of them
- Generally helping keep the church looking like someone actually cares about it
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate should be:
- Dependable and responsible
- Able to work independently
- A self-starter who doesn't need to be told what needs doing
- Comfortable getting their hands dirty
- Detail-oriented
- Trustworthy
- And preferably someone who doesn't mind occasionally going above and beyond the actual job description
