The Part-Time Advancement Director at Christ the King School reports directly to the principal and is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of enrollment management, communications, and community engagement efforts. This role plays a vital part in strengthening the school’s presence in the community, increasing enrollment, and supporting long-term sustainability.
This is a 19-hour per week position, with a flexible schedule based on school needs, events, and key enrollment or development cycles.

Specific Responsibilities
Governance and Strategic Planning:
- Promote understanding and support of Christ the King School’s mission and vision within the school and parish community
- Collaborate with the principal to set priorities and align advancement efforts with school goals
- Support strategic planning efforts related to enrollment growth and community engagement
- Lead efforts related to student recruitment and retention, including open houses, school tours, and community outreach
- Coordinate re-enrollment processes in collaboration with the school office and FACTS systems
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that highlight the strengths of Christ the King School
- Track, analyze, and report on enrollment data to guide decision-making
- Work closely with parish leadership and school staff to strengthen the connection between the parish and school
- Support and grow fundraising initiatives, including annual giving, events, and donor outreach
- Assist in planning and executing school fundraisers (e.g., Race for Education, Golf Outing, special events)
- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors and partners
- Help build a culture of philanthropy that supports the long-term success of the school
- Oversee and support school communications to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism
- Assist in the creation of newsletters, marketing materials, and digital content
- Manage and update the school website and social media platforms
- Coordinate messaging that highlights student life, academic programs, and school achievements
- Engage families, alumni, parishioners, and community members in the life of the school
- Recruit and support volunteers for events and school initiatives
- Strengthen relationships between the school and parish to foster a more connected community
- Support data collection and organization related to enrollment and development efforts
- Assist in managing systems such as FACTS and other communication or donor platforms
- Help streamline processes that support enrollment and advancement work
- Experience in enrollment management, marketing, communications, fundraising, or related fields
- Strong appreciation for and ability to promote Catholic education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively
- Comfort working with data and systems such as FACTS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
- Experience in a Catholic school, parish, or nonprofit setting preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
