Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Foreman with expertise as a Cemetery Foreman to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will oversee daily cemetery operations, manage staff, and ensure that all activities are conducted efficiently and respectfully.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate cemetery maintenance and burial operations.
- Manage and lead a team of groundskeepers and laborers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Schedule and oversee grave digging, landscaping, and monument installation.
- Maintain accurate records of burials, plots, and cemetery inventory.
- Communicate effectively with families, funeral directors, and vendors.
- Inspect equipment and grounds regularly to ensure proper maintenance.
- Train and mentor staff to uphold high standards of service and care.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cemetery Foreman or similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of cemetery operations, burial procedures, and landscaping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with safety standards and equipment maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
