Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Science Teacher position located in Calabasas, CA. The Science Teacher will design and deliver engaging science curriculum, create detailed lesson plans, and facilitate hands-on experiments to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts. The role involves assessing student progress, fostering critical thinking, and cultivating a positive, inclusive classroom environment in alignment with Catholic values. Teachers are also expected to collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Science Education, with expertise in Physics and Mathematics
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and curriculum development to create impactful and engaging learning experiences
- Qualified Teacher credentials or equivalent certification, with relevant teaching experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Ability to engage students with diverse learning styles and backgrounds
- Familiarity with Catholic education values and willingness to promote a faith-based academic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field
- Master’s degree or specialization in science-related disciplines is a plus
