St. Luke Catholic School in Indianapolis, Indiana is a Kindergarten through 8th grade elementary school seeking a dynamic, faith-filled, and innovative STEM Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering an engaging, hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. This teacher will create a structured, supportive, and dynamic learning environment that challenges all learners to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement a comprehensive STEM curriculum aligned with state standards and school goals
-Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for students in grades K–8
-Incorporate technology, engineering design, coding, and problem-based learning into instruction
-Integrate STEM concepts across subject areas and collaborate with classroom teachers
-Promote digital citizenship and responsible use of technology
-Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
-Maintain a positive, respectful, and faith-centered classroom environment
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related area
-Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain licensure)
-Experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students preferred
-Strong background in technology integration, coding, engineering, or robotics preferred
-Knowledge of STEM instructional best practices and project-based learning
