SEL Support Specialist - St. Mark School

Saint Mark Catholic School seeks a compassionate and skilled SEL Specialist to
support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This individual will
implement behavior intervention plans, teach self-regulation and social skills, track
student progress, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to
foster a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
 Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
 Collect and analyze behavioral data to track student progress.
 Teach self-regulation, coping, communication, and social skills.
 Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and the school
social worker.
 Respond to behavioral crises using approved de-escalation techniques.
 Provide behavioral support and classroom management strategies to staff.
Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, Social Work, or a
related field required.
 1-3 years of experience supporting student behavior in an educational setting.
 Experience with behavior intervention, IEP implementation, and data collection.
 Master's degree and CPI certification preferred.
 Must successfully complete Archdiocesan child safety training and background
screening.
 Valid driver's license required.
