We’re looking for an experienced IT Help Desk Technician to be the first point of contact for technical support across our organization. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; assist with installations and configurations; document solutions; and escalate complex problems when needed. If you enjoy helping others and solving technical challenges, you’ll thrive here.
What You’ll Do
- Provide frontline support for computers, phones, networks, and software
- Install and configure hardware and applications
- Document tickets and escalate issues as needed
- Assist with system testing, data analysis, and IT process improvement
- Support equipment moves, hardware setup, and daily IT operations
- Stay current with emerging technologies
- Represent the Archdiocese with professionalism and excellent service
What You Bring
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3 years of help desk or technical support experience
- CompTIA A or Network preferred
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, Windows Server
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches & Ubiquiti devices
- Basic scripting (PowerShell a plus)
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt to change
