Job Title: Sports Information Director
Department: Athletics
Reports To: Athletic Director
Level: 7
Shift/Hours: 12 months
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for reporting news, scores, statistics, and other information to media outlets and conference offices as needed.
- Oversees all sports information staffing at all home events.
- Develops game programs for all home sporting events.
- Oversees the in-game live production video at all home sporting events.
- Responsible for statistical complication for each team including game, season and career statistics.
- Promotes special events and recognition activities for intercollegiate athletics (Senior Days, Women In Sports Day, etc.).
- Assists the Athletic Director in the implementing Athletics marketing & promotional initiatives in support of the department.
- Updates and maintains the department’s website.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree; three years coaching or playing experience at the collegiate and/or professional level and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
