Job Title: Sports Information Director

Department: Athletics

Reports To: Athletic Director

Level: 7

Shift/Hours: 12 months

• Responsible for reporting news, scores, statistics, and other information to media outlets and conference offices as needed.

• Oversees all sports information staffing at all home events.

• Develops game programs for all home sporting events.

• Oversees the in-game live production video at all home sporting events.

• Responsible for statistical complication for each team including game, season and career statistics.

• Promotes special events and recognition activities for intercollegiate athletics (Senior Days, Women In Sports Day, etc.).

• Assists the Athletic Director in the implementing Athletics marketing & promotional initiatives in support of the department.

• Updates and maintains the department’s website.

• Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree; three years coaching or playing experience at the collegiate and/or professional level and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
