About: St. Frances Cabrini Parish & School is a Roman Catholic Church and co-educational PK – 12 grade school, within the Archdiocese of Detroit, in Allen Park, Michigan. Founded in 1946, St. Frances Cabrini Parish has 1,500 parish families and 555 students.

Goal: The Athletic Director is responsible for fostering an environment where our community’s young people enjoy their youth and teach them how to be faith and community leaders through athletic programming.
Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Principal and Pastor
Position Overview: St. Frances Cabrini Parish & School is seeking a dynamic and faith-filled Athletic Director to oversee and grow our PK–12 athletic programs, including all CYO athletics. The Athletic Director will provide leadership that promotes Catholic values, sportsmanship, academic excellence, and student-athlete development while ensuring the effective operation of all athletic programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all PK–12 athletic and CYO programs.
- Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate coaches and volunteers.
- Coordinate schedules, contests, transportation, facilities, officials, and game-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with Archdiocesan, CYO, MHSAA, CHSL, league, and school regulations.
- Monitor student-athlete eligibility, safety, and academic requirements.
- Manage athletic department budgets, equipment, facilities, and fundraising efforts.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the school, parish, families, coaches, booster organizations, CYO, and MHSAA.
- Promote athletic programs and accomplishments through school communications and social media.
- Foster a positive athletic culture rooted in Christian values, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Attend athletic events, meetings, and school functions as required.
- Support the growth of youth and feeder athletic programs that strengthen Cabrini athletics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Sports Management, Athletic Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to Catholic education and values.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, coaches, staff, and community members.
