Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians in the care, handling, and treatment of animal patients
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and sanitation throughout the facility
- Prepare and sterilize equipment and treatment areas
- Monitor patient behavior and health, and communicate observations to the medical team
- Provide excellent client service, including patient intake, discharge, and education
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining medical records and restocking supplies
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, kennel assistant, or animal caretaker is a plus
- Strong work ethic and passion for animals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced veterinary clinic
- A passion for keeping things clean and organized
